For this price we can do most of the grooming ourselves. We have a sharpener for the blades when they get dull so all we needed was sturdy, well made tools, so we are very satisfied. Fred the Destroyer (of shoes and pillows) loves the attention.
Great set of scissors. Sharp. Doesn’t pull on the hair as it cuts. Comfortable to use, both for me and my Australian Shepherd. I like that the scissors have blunt ends and are curved. I would recommend these scissors.
I've had clippers for years now, and have tried to save money by grooming my dogs myself. I've never had any lessons, and I think that shows in my results.I have miniature schnauzers, and the schnauzer cut isn't easy. Something I've always struggled with is their eyebrows. Regular scissors just never seemed to work. That's why I ordered these—they have scissors with an arch to them. Who knows if that's what you're supposed to use or not, but when I used these, for the first time ever, I got my dogs to look pretty darn good if I do say so myself. The comb was also quite useful, as this is sticker season, and those are pretty hard to get out.I think these are well-made, and they come with a little vinyl case that keeps them organized and together. I don't know if these are what professionals use, but I feel like my dogs have a much more professional look to their cuts after getting these.
Scissors are VERY sharp. Seem to be sturdy-well made.
