I used this on my basset hound who has been shedding like crazy and this brush is amazing. It gets more hair than any other brush I’ve used and it’s super easy to clean off (I just smack it on the side of the porch). I used it before and after giving her a bath and plan to use it fairly regularly on non-wash days. To my surprise the side with the bigger bristles got more hair out than the smaller bristles. I wish I would’ve bought this sooner, highly recommend.
WOW is all I have to say! I got this much hair off of my tiny 6 pound cat in about 2 minutes. I’ve tried glove brushes before, but with my cat being so small and my hands also being small it doesn’t work well. Her hair is so fine that other brushes don’t do a good job of picking it up, but this one gets in deep. She loves it too.
My Captain hates to be brushed and runs away anytime I try. He's a Newfie/Lab mix and his "fur" is more like hair and matts easily. This is much more gentle on his skin and doesn't rip out the matts like the wire brushes. It works great in the bath too. I can run it through his hair with conditioner to help release the matts. We are both much happier with this brush. In very glad I bought it.
This is my boxer/German shepherd mix. AND THIS BRUSH WAS AWESOME. I used it as soon as i received it. Balls of hair were flying off of him ! It’s great.
