Perfect for my Husky/Akita

Love this leash...the 6ft is the perfect length, and it’s very comfortable even when my 100 pound bag of muscle is pulling with all his strength...as you can see in pics, I have a Husky/Akita mix who is built for pulling sleds, and this leash stands up to him with no issues at all...he has tried to bite through it as well and no signs of fraying (he goes nuts when he sees cats on our walks...lol)...it has a very slight stretch to it, which only adds to the comfort, and the foam handle is also very nice...my favorite leash I’ve owned for any of my dogs, highly recommend

Good quality for price

I ordered this leash as the other one I had for my dog had been through enough wear and tear. I didn’t want to get a retractable one as I had 2 break in the past. My dog likes to pull the leash, even though we are working to train her with that. This leash is a little longer than the standard 6 feet and it is thick enough to where it won’t snap easily if pulled, I haven’t really had my dog chew on it like her last one or anything as she hasn’t wanted to. The clasp part isn’t heavy and the leash itself doesn’t weigh down on the dog, it almost supports itself instead of just weighing down on her. I think she likes the leash too. The handle is good quality, I have been trying to be careful with the leash to be honest, but it has held up and is good quality for the price. I am happy with the purchase!

Great slip lead for the price!!

I bought this slip lead because I volunteer walking dogs at my local shelter and I just rescued a foster dog. I haven’t had any problems with the leash until the foster dog- seems like it’s very sturdy especially for the price! This dog I’m fostering is only 55 lbs but she pulls on a leash HARD. So hard that she bent the metal ring and frayed the rope a bit. This is a great leash but if your dog is ridiculously strong, watch out! I’m so glad it has a padded handle!!!!

Perfect for our needs

Originally, I thought this leash was too "intense" for our young Boston Terrier, however, my husband insisted (as they do). I will let him have this victory. It was an awesome purchase. Our little girl is about 8 pounds currently and will grow to be about 16lbs and there is no doubt in my mind that this leash will last a LONG time. It is a little thick for my preferences however, it is so sturdy. . The clasp we hook to her harness is very strong and appears very durable too. I've heard of other leashes breaking at this part, but so far after about a month of use we have had no problems. And it is very easy to clip on, it is not sprung so tight you can't clip it on in a hurry.That being said, she is a SMALL dog. I cannot speak to how well this would work with a puller or a larger bread. It has the appearance of a bungee cord, but there is no spring/pull in the leash itself, just very sturdy woven fabric. She also never showed desire to chew it (thankfully) but it truly is so sturdy, even if she got hold of it and had the desire, I would find it hard to believe that she could do any damage to it by chewing.

Surprising quality for the price! Saw same type at pet store for $25-$29. Just ordered 5 more .

I always thoroughly inspect my leash before each walk to ensure the safety of my puppy.1. The padded handle is a bonus. It is very comfortable and marks a huge improvement from other leashes.2. The metal clip is very strong and secure. It’s really nice and easy to hook3. Rope is super sturdy, seems to be made of climbing rope4. The leash is in fact reflectiveUpdate:I've been using it for about five months now. We walk several times a week, 4-6 miles at a time, and the leash is showing no signs of wear and tear. I have a lot of hand pain and this leash has been a huge help...I can't say enough about how much more comfortable it makes our walks.
